I want to put tubbies on my fx-1 and I was wondering what tubbies are the best for flatwater freestyle.

I have tom21's. Not exact fit but a necessity for the fx1. You might have to shave the inside foam to fit, no biggie. Still a nice product.

you will be happy with your Toms. I didn't shave mine a bit. Thickened epoxy and stainless screws to set it on. Removed screws, filled holes with more epoxy and feathered in the transitions.

First off Tom is a awesome and very helpful guy, I can say the tom21 tubbies are nice but AREN'T a EXACT fit to a fx-1 as noted on his website. But tom will tell you they were made for a RN not a fx1 but will work. They took quite a bit of molding and cutting get them to blend correctly. But did put them up to my RN and they followed the water line EXACTLY.

Marine 2 part epoxy from uscomposites. Thickened up with some cabosil to a nice peanut butter consistency. Been on there for 2 seasons look and ride great.

Has anyone tried to fit up Blowsion destroyers? I like the idea of the bolt on units.

Yes, it's been done. I think they use the 2008+ SJ destroyers. Email blowsion for more info. You have to do some trimming to get them to fit. I asked them about this a month or so ago, and they emailed me some pics of a customer's fx-1 with destroyers.
