Fuel Stabil?

Do y'all put fuel stabil in your two stroke skiis during the winter time? I know it doesn't take long these days for that gas to turn to terpintine. I'm guessing it wouldn't affect the premix.

i have never used stabil and have never had a problem. winter is pretty short here in tx, but it do get cold. suppose to freeze in n. tx tonight.

i put it in my last tank of the season and try to run the tank dry. i usually pull my carbs to clean them and give them a once over but it shouldn't be needed if the fuel is stabilized for storage. i just get bored.

From years of experience, use it.

Fill your tank with fresh fuel and the proper amount of Stabil

Run for a few mins to get gas w/Stabil into lines and carb/s

Fog and do your usual.

The reason you want the tank full is that it will slow down the evaporation process.

You want as little air as possible in the tank. The more air in the tank, the faster the volatile components evaporate. When they evaporate, you will get stuck with the gunk and varnish like components.

Thanks guys. I know winter isn't that long here, but that crappy ethanol gas doesn't last any time at all.
