Fuel line to carb brass fitting popped out

Working on the carbs, when I tried to disconnect the fuel line this happened ........ How to make sure the fitting stays put ?

Degrease the surfaces well and install with red loctite

Don’t pull on hoses that still have hose clamps or zip ties on them.. I've had to slight burr up the surface to make the fitting "press" back in. Loc-tite did not work for me but I think the tolerance on these fittings are all over the place. If its a snug fit it should work. Loctight activates only when it see's pressure. If its looks its doing nothing

I hardly used any pressure, it just came out.

You might consider "burring" it up a little as dag mentioned. Loctite- an aenerobic sealant - cures in the absence of oxygen. There is a version that's used on sleeves / valve guides that takes up quite a few thousands of an inch, but I don't think you need to go there.

I always use a little JB weld, and have had good luck with that. (in fear Loctite will not hold)

Be sure everything is clean and dry.

JB Weld. rough up the fitting to give the JB something to hold onto
