Well, I got this 94 stock750 sx for $400. Ive pulled the tank, cleaned it all out, replaced all the fuel lines, and added fresh gas/ coverted to premix.
The ski has been sitting for about 6 years.
Ive done everything, but pull the carb.
What the ski does is takes a lot of choke to start, and once it starts runs great for about 5-10 seconds, than just runs out of fuel.
I know this is a carb problem, and I am going to rebuild it, but I was wondering more specifically, what part of the carb sucks gas into the carb, and keeps the flow coming in after the motor is started.
Also I coverted to premix, but I havent installed the plate yet. I was wondering how much of an affect not having the small rubber cap, where the oil line connected to the intake manifold. (I imagine not much, but was just curious)
Thanks, Brian
