Landlocked or not, unless you're on a still lake there is freeride opportunity.

There is a lake that connects to mine called Pigeon. It get wicked wind in the afternoon. 4-6' quite common. Thats a decent freeride day for anyone IMO.
Although there is no beachbreak, but the rollers are fun enough for my level of skill.
