Alright, I've been out of the water for two weeks now while I build my round nose, and I'm super bummed that I'm missing the "Lanier" Ride. I really wish I could get out there and party with everyone.

Either way, I've decided to offer a litte incentive to those of you who are thinking about trying a backflip or two. I'll offer up one free Sidestage t-shirt to any member of the X who pulls a backflip during this trip. A picture of the backflip (or video) and general agreement that you pulled it all the way around is required. Nosing them in is, by my standards, a complete backflip. Anything less 270* rotation is not a complete backflip.

Hopefully this will motivate some of you to man up and go for it.

Have a great weekend guys.

I will probably be giving away this t-shirt.

For now, I'll say it's just for the newbies.....but all you old hats get your proof too....I'm not sure you are all capable of pulling them on these boat wakes.. If I'm not overwhelmed by the new guys pulling them, I'll send them out to the vets too.

Its gonna take me a while to get used to the thing. I've never had a roundnose, straight bars, shortend pole, ect.
Its gonna feel retarded for a bit, but I do plan on steppin up a lot this year.

hehe, I know that feeling. After switching to the lightweight hull, I rode like on my first day. But know I can go straight without falling off, thats pretty cool. I still have to work on the curves though :woot:
