I swear people have said they sent their FPP headpipe in for frozen screws to be taken out? I sent one in and they said they never covered that under warranty? Did I dream up people saying they had it covered or is FPP giving me the run around?

I never thought it would be covered until i read, someplace maybe the other site, that they were covering it. I made the argument that I have 5 FPP pipes in my garage right now so it isn't like they have not made their money (in the $3k range i would guess on just those 5 pipes) Oh well I guess I was wrong, I'll have my machine shop hook up fix it for me.

Hey Bro-did u talk to Cindy? If not, plead your case w/her. I stripped the holes out of my exhaust manifold, told her I did, shipped her the old one, and she shipped me a new one-FREE. I tried to get her to let me pay for part of it and shipping and she would not let me. It's worth a try at least.
ps-I believe her last name is Liberty, Ross's wife-not 100% sure bout that tho.

I explained the situation told Her I have been a long time customer etc. no dice oh well not the end of the world. If other people said theirs were covered then i might be a little upset.

FYI: On my brand new FP I replaced the 3 original (small) screws with the oversized pardaddy set. Once you finalize on where you want the screw adjusted, remove and put 1211 on the screw threads and nut.

Doesn't that make it hard to remove the screws and clean the injector holes? I do that 3 or 4 times a season to make sure I am getting the right flow into the pipe. This pipe that is stuck is off a ski I am working on for someone.

1211 silicone comes off by just rubbing on it. It cleans off better then any other type of silicone. Because of its sealing ability, you will easily be able to remove screws and re-apply faster than fighting a frozen screw.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I use 1211 on EVERYTHING. Fight the salty white powder :Banane01:
