footwell install on sxr

hey guys I just ordered my foot wells and mat kit from blowsion for my sxr. I was wondering if anyone had a good thread on installation for the foot wells in the hull. I got a good idea on how to do it from watching wamiltons instructions for a superjet but just wanted I see if anyone had one for a sxr. thank you

As far as i know, its that same as a superjet, but ive been told the exhaust tube just unbolts and slides out that way you dont accidently cut into it.

There is a measurement to know how far forward so that you don't hit the pipe. I will have to see if I have pics still. My install was back in 08

the exhaust pipe is about 16 inches back from the inside corner of the tray, if I remember correctly. I did it in January before Daytona and huffed a lot of Weldwood.....

I cut a smaller hole to give me a window into the tray sidewall. I was able to slid my holds forward a little more because of their design angle.
