So I have installed my footholds, and I'm wondering if I need 2 part foam or if I can just glass the holds and be done with it. If I do need foam, how would I go about doing it? Thanks

You need to foam the holds in for extra support. Drill a 1"-1 1/2" hole just above the foothold on top of the gunwhale and pour in the foam. Just make sure you tape off the painted areas because the foam will destroy the finish. You also need to reinforce the footholds as well as the tray with a layer of fiberglass.
