Foothold location on -3 sj

I shortened the bottom rear of my square nose -3. Tray and gunwhales are stock. Should I still Put foothold all the way at the very rear? Or maybe 3" forward?? I'm I bigger dude 225lbs and I ride flat water only, chase boats and barges when I can do lots of nose stabs and want to start practicing barrel rolls. Prolly wont be running anything more than a limited 701 setup in this ski. If any of that matters.

I had my SX-R shortened 5 inches and never changed the foothold location...you may end up shortening your pole a bit

move them forward a bit. I had a -3 superjet with rickter holds in it and I wished I put them a bit more forward than stock location. only thing is the exhaust tube becomes more of an issue the further forward you go with the holds...

the holds were already in my hull which is shortened 3" and they are WAY to far forward and i will be moving them back this winter.
