I was thinking about firberglass reinforcing this new/old handpole im getting to make it last a little longer. Would there be any perceivable benefit to doing this? Also i understand the benefit of a limiting rope now...

When all is said and done... USE A LIMITING ROPE! this will save you a lot of hassle for the next pole.

Update:So as to the problem starting we found we need a new starter, the reason we need a new starter is that we took the engine out and tried to turn the driveline and couldnt do it at all.....
