Flow Control Valve Pressure

What kind of pressure is everyone running on there jet works valves. I have one on my ski and Katie is installing one on hers but I need to check pressure on both. :biggthumpup: Both limited pipes

i was told to set mine to reagular breath pressure.... blow and it should release

The web sight says they come set at 3.5# and to check w/ pop off preasure tester. I am going to hook mine up and run a line out of the boat (w/ hood off) and try and set it to open at arroun 4500 / 5000 rpms or when the pipe kicks in real good. I would have no idea how to check water preasure to stinger any other way?

I dont think its that simple. You have to take into account many things like dual cooling and restrictors at different points in the cooling system.

For an example I am running dual cooling and 3 mil restictors at all my bypasses and the stinger so the pressure in my cooling lines is much greater.

Right now I have mine at the stock setting, but I think I need to tighten it up(raise the popoff pressure) because the pressure is so high in my lines.

Regular breath pressure seems like it would provide no benefit, IMO. It has to stop the water while idling at least to gain the benefit of keeping the waterbox from loading up.
