I needed a project in this long snowy winter in CT so i bought a 144 flow guard from TC and made it fit today. It was a lot of grinding, cutting and checking. I think i have it where i want it so i get lots of trim and full steering throw. I had to cut the top of the flow guard off because it wouldnt fit in the pump tunnel of my blaster and it helped the thrust trim arm clearance. I also ground off a good amount of material on the trim arm and raised it up with a spacer. Here are some pics, 1 more test fit and then ill glass around it and seal it up to the nozzle. I also suggest trying this on a crappy nozzle, i ended up drilling a lot of extra holes.
