What does everyone with aftermarket hulls do about their fire extinguisher's??? Im trying to decide where to put mine at :thinkerg: I have a wdk rev if it matters

I used to put mine between the engine/B-pipe/Fuel tank. I wrapped some Hydro Turf around it so it won't rub on the motor/pipe. Also, put turf or something under as it will wear away at the hull. Then I made a loop out of some elastic bungie-type cord and put it around the rubber strap that holds the fuel tank. Then you just hook/unhook the loop around the top of the fire extinguisher. This is for a stock SJ, but I assume the interior dimensions are going to be pretty much the same for the aftermarket skis, so it should work.
Last year I bought the black container and straps for the old square nose (that goes in the front of the tray) and use that. I like that setup a lot better. You can actually get to it to show it if you get pulled over without having to beach it and pull the hood (I also keep my laminated registration card in it). Technically, it may not be legal under the hood (never had a problem). I also use the rubber strap that holds the container to hold my tow rope for easy acess. Win-win in my book. As long as the width of the tray is standard, the squarenose container should work.
