Motor started running bad. Seemed electrical to me.
I've been (like I think a lot of us) putting my fire extinguisher in the corner between the front left motor/fuel tank/B-pipe. I did wrap in in Hydro-Turf (although I think most of it came off over the years, I need to check that. Didn't notice the hole until after I had pulled the motor and taken everything out for a yearly rebuild).
Anyway, I have a hole in my flywheel cover where the fire extinguisher was. Subsequently I have a stator/bendix that are full of saltwater and a ruined RAD flywheel.
Just a warning, check for rubbing, make sure you wrap your extinguisher in something like Hydro-turf and check it to make sure the 'Turf isn't breaking down.
