Finger Throttle?

In your opinions.... who makes the best finger throttle?

I'm in need to replace my stock one, POS broke again, and looking to get an A/M one. I like the comfort of the stocker, but want something a little more durable. What's my best choice?

TBM makes one that uses a bearing and is adjustable to make it either straight or angle pull. Pretty nice...

Berrings? Great idea anyone ever run a UMI steering set up? Berrings are nice..... for me to poop on! The UMI throte piece is good because it doesnt have berrings.

I was UMI for years, but I have been running an X-Metal for the last 3 years and like it much more. For me it's better because it has less of a hook on the end than the UMI...........that really digs in your foot on monkey jumps. I also don't have the slop in my X-Metal that the UMI had.

:haha: - yeah, I love my UMI throttles... never had one problem with them.

My buddy has a new TBM on his SXR... curious to see how long it holds up.

I was probably going with xmetal unless I heard different about it compared to others since I'm ordering -2.5 steering setup. Looks like it will be OK. All I know is I have an older KVPI on my old ski that is squarish and digs into the fingers....


Does Xmetal have coupons? I see they have a spot on their site for them when ordering, just don't if they actually have any. If someone has one 'hooka bruva up!' :beerchug:

I've got the blowsion straight-pull on my ski. Not sure how it compares price-wise (like $65.) No complaints. No play. Lots of colors too.

i've hused the umi ergo for years and liked it fine...just picked up wammers one for a new ski . we'll see how it does
