Hey I have used the search and cant really find what I am looking for.
How many layers of 1708 should I be using for the tray of my wifes square nose. And what are some recommendations for the sides. I have some 8oz for the sides but how many layers. Thanks for the help.

Ok so I used 2 layers of kyntex xmat 1308 on the tray. It is 21 0z .

And one layer of 8 oz a cloth followed by one layer of the kyntex 1308 on the gunwale.

Do you guys think that is enough or should I put more or the gunwale. This ski is for my wife so its not getting to abused. Also I completely reshaped the gunwale so the original gunwale is completely gone.

That is probably good. Maybe put a strip of the 8oz a few inches wide over where the tray meets the walls. I believe that is the weakest area.

Yea, I made sure the walls overlap the tray.
