Octane Feeding Dual Mikunis on a 777

I know most engine builders say to run a seperate pulse and fuel line for each individual carb on most engines. However has anyone Run the Pentagon High Volume Mikuni Fuel Pump to fuel their dual MIKUNIS? seeing how the stock carbs piggy backed the pulse and main feed from each other and the case only was fitted with one pulse port, Would this be an issue? It could also retain the stock fuel pick up in the octane tank right? without having to run dual pickups.. can you cap off the pulse inlet original mikuni fuel pump or would you have to run the block off plates?

-Or..Can I run the duals and just use a vaccuum tee/splitter and share the pulse from the case?-is their enough vac or do I get a second pulse fitting from WATCON and drill the case anyway-don't really want to drill the case at the moment and risk metal filings getting into the engine...

people will tell you , you can "split" the pulse line. IMO it is not a good thing to do, and gives your carbs a weak signal.

best is to run two pulse lines, OR remove the pumps on the carbs, install block off plates, and run one external pump, with dual outlets.

I ran an external pump at first, then got a reed spacer that had a pulse line in it to add the second line and went back to having individual pumps on the carbs. It's just cleaner using the carb pumps, the external worked fine. Tank pickup was all stock and I had no problem feeding the 950 with dual 46mm Novis...

Where did you get this Reed Spacer? This spacer was on a 777? I see a 950 ( assuming 950cc Polaris based engine?) Love to hear more about it!
