Factory pipe settings ( I know if it ain't broke don't.....but I must

I did'nt want to hi jack the post so started a new one.This thread has me

want to mess with my pipe.......Factory pipe that is.What is the setting used

for bottom end ? I read thru the web site tuning ,but not clear on that

optimal setting. According to the info you set the bottom leave it and then

open the top. It says that you will loose some top end. I could care less

about the top side 30 mph is fine.What are you guys running ? also post

major mods.I don't know what my settings are .I'm just wondering if i can get

more from my set up.It looks like the top is fully open and the bottom

opened is a few turns as well.the middle is closed.

Best bet is to pull the headpipe and note where your settings are. From there play with settings leaving at least one screw 1 turn open at all times. If you read around here you'll see opinions vary so it's all about your testing.

From what I've read and who I've talked to most say all closed except for top or bottom. Even well respected shops seem to differ between what they post here and say over the phone at times, it's all about setup.
