Yep, Lord Mounts are probably in a bind due to bad alignment. Align the Exhaust System Parts first without the Mounts and then see where the Pipe brackets end up. Also measure the actual space between the Pipe Brackets and the Cylinder Head, and the Block, and order your Mounts accordingly.
Make sure ALL the required mounts (2?) are installed. If you leave one mount off, then the other one will take the full load and not last very long.
Recently installed a Protec DBP Exhaust system into a Square Nose Superjet. I had bought all the correct Mounts from Protec, but one of the Mounts was a 1/4" too thick for proper fit and alignment. Bought JW Winco Rubber Mounts from Zoro, 3 for $13 bucks. Same durometer rating (50/55A) as the expensive Lord Mounts.
