Hey. Just installed a limited b pipe into my sj. The expansion chamber is only clearing the motor mount by about 3/16. I had to prop the water box up about an inch just to get that. Is that enough clearance. I plan on doing some riding that will jar things around a bit and would prefer not to put a hole in the chamber. Also the chamber was touching the side of the hull, so i stuck a piece of turf between them. hopefully that will do. Thanks for any comments.

They all rub, I had to grind down the back two ribs in my SN to get the chamber/headpipe clamp to fit. Seems there is very little clearance between my MM as well. I can't believe how tight the pipe fits either once all clamped up, I can barely jiggle/or move it 1/8 inch. i don't even think I could get turf between the chamber and the side of my ski without shoving it in or prying on the chamber As I did it.

unless its an AM hull, youll have to grind on the ribs or grind on the bedplates, depending on which chamber you have, and which waterbox. just grind down a flat spot on the bedplates and put a dab of black paint on it and go with it.

I don't think mine hits the bed plate at all? Although I can't get my finger underneath to feel it.

My head pipe to chamber coupler is really close to the side of the hull! like 2-3mm! Not sure if it will rub through my hull!?

Mine is close as well, I don't think it rubs, but I cannot see it. If your worries try and shove some foam in there.

I haven't noticed any rubbing, I've shined a light down along the side and haven't seen anything, but who knows its probably rubbing in places I cannot see. But after that install, the last thing I wanna do is mess with that pipe again, what a PITA!
