Custom/Hybrid F&5k it! I'm turning my superjet into a quad ski

Seeing how it runs like crap every time I put it in the water and it it runs perfectly fine on the trailer it seems like a good idea to me!

sure....looks the the low end stumble is gone but when you hit the throttle it acts like its smacking the crap out of the rev limiter. I took my prok's and outer wears off just to try it out and it ran a little better. It has some decent throttle response but it still doesn't seem that impressive. Maybe it's because I have so much into this total loss that I'm expecting way more out of it than I should.

The ski is a 08 super jet and the motor is a jet works built 771. I ran an epic ignition last year that gave me a bunch of grief (READ: Not Confirmed) so I put on a total loss and my low end stumble went away but once its on the water it acts like I'm hitting the rev limiter way too early. But when its on the trailer it revs up and sounds just fine. Just like last year. I think my ski is allergic to water.

Cool man thanks, the one i know of is kinda in the same boat, revs fine on the trailer but once in the water barely has the balls to pull you out of the water.

Looks like I don't have to do a quad ski conversion after all!!!

Big thanks to the ski clinic for bitch slapping my super jet and making it act right. I took it out for a little spin this morning.....so nice to have a ski that run great! I just gotta find some where to buy some av gas and maybe borrow some ones beach cart and this thing may finally see some salt this weekend.

Turns out the billet knobs on my carbs needed to be trimmed down. They said instead of being a turn out or so they where bottoming out and sitting at about 4 turns out. The hilarious thing was that last year I was considering swapping out the billet knobs for some regular T-handle adjusters. Then I talked myself out of it. lol

I'm glad they found it. I know I would have never figured it out. When are you guys coming down?
