I just switched from the 1986 3 bolt flange style headpipe to the one that was SUPPOSED to be on the ski, which is the coupler style. Went to install last night, and turns out, where the head pipe bolts to the manifold, it has thicker meat, and the three bolts 12MM bolts I used for the other head pipe DO NOT FIT. they aren't long enough, couldn't even get a single thread turn out of it.
Can someone give me the EXACT bolt size I need for these three bolts? I know I use a 12MM socket, but what are the bolt dimensions, meaning the M7 X 4.6 number (just made that one up, saw the number format on a box of bolts).
And can I get them at a Home Depot or Lowe's so I don't have to wait another 6 days for parts?
