Exhaust gasket

Whatz up guys? I just ordered my new exhaust gasket. However; I'm looking to ride my blaster this weekend, what could I imprivise with? I'm running a yamaha red pipe.. I was thinking of using the old gasket with some yamabond #4 or #6, or just the yamabond??? Info appreciated..

i just used i think it was called rv gasket maker for a b-pipe cause i could get the gasket for a few days it held up for a ride just fine

I would go to an auto store and buy some cork gasket. Trace the exact shape you're looking for and then cut it out. Apply some sealer to it, and it should be as good as a purchased gasket.

Did you get that bracket all welded up for the SJ?

Yep, it had to be slightly modified, but it did the trick, my ski runs pret-ty good.. Corson's sucked on monday, actually if you were inland on the ocean city side there were some nice breakers, blaster should be finished tommorrow night/saturday
