Other exhaust coming from water bypass

I have some exhaust fumes coming out of my pisser going from the top of the head pipe to my "waterbox" and t'd to a pisser, its a westcoast inline silencer made for like 440's and 550's. Obviously I cannot tell if fumes are coming out while in water, but on dry land they are coming out. At first I thought it was blown orings from my head letting fumes come out. Then I started really thinking and maybe its just fumes traveling through the water line from the silencer when there is no water in it?

man if its running fine in the water i wouldnt mess with it. my older ski acts wierd out of the water but when its in, it runs like a bat out of hell.

it makes since that it could be comming from that silencer thou, without the water being forced threw the line the exaust side would have more pressure.

Mine does that, too. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

yeah mine too... Sometimes if it gets bad enough it ends up being ex manifold gasket, between the water jacket and exhuast port. Not sure if yama is the same tho
