What is a good epoxy to use to reinstall the cut out sections removed for defoaming? I know you can use 3m 5200 for footholds followed up by glass but I think something that cures a little harder will work better.........followed up by glass of course.

Here's what I did: Put something on the back of the panel or on the inside of the hull so the panel cannot fall in.
You could use tape...
Then glass right over it, with epoxy resin and glass matt. If you used tape, don't go over that, but wait until everything is cured, then cover it up.
Pretty easy, really.
See my buildup thread for pics on this.

i used 5 minute epoxy with silica and duct tape to hold the corners waited for epoxy to dry. removed tape then silica and us composites fast set epoxy waited for it to dry and glassed in the pieces with 17 oz. thanks to crammit for all the tips and getting my parts list ready . mine is solid as a rock . i dropped my ski off the stand today and  it bounced. im glad i reinforced the back while i had it opened.
