Super Jet Engine Lock Washers

So I am in the process of installing my engine and during reviewing motor shimming techniques I came across engine lock washers by Rhaas and Wamiltons I think. Anyone needed to use these due to engine slipping between washers and mounts? Is there really any need for them? I think the OEM ones have some sort of notch in them but I don't have those, so last year I was just rocking standard washers. I barely rode so I wouldn't have seen the issue myself. Thoughts?

I think they help if youre flopping a lot of backflips lol. But all I did was took some new heavy duty stainless washers from fastenal and roughed up both sides with a grinder to bite into the fastener and bedplate. Never moved a mm all summer after dozens of "backflops" lol
