Those of you who carry your jetskis in an enclosed trailer, are the bunks really necessary?
A superjet hull is relatively flat in the center section where the engine mounts and flat section extends all the way to the ride plate.
The surface area of this flat center section should be about the same, if not bigger, as the surface area of 2 bunks.
Regular bunks prevent the jetski from lateral movement but if a jetski is properly strapped to a CARPETED floor, are bunks really necessary?
Reason I ask is because jetskis are often shipped on pallets or in crates with no bunks and hulls don't get damaged.
What do you guys think?
