Is this as crazy as I think it is ir is it actually possible to make better power with this setup then the stock 61x pipe?
I'm mainly asking because I have a 650 pipe right here and I don't have the cake to spring for a b pipe at the moment...thanks guys.

There good but not at that price. Plus the Kawi pipe should be modded for a real gain. If you can do it for 200 or less it's better once you get into a pipe for 350 there's better options

what has to be modded on a kawi 650 pipe for the fx1 on a 701? i have a few i stare at all the time. hate to throw stuff away especially if it can be reused on another ski..?

It makes much better power that the stock Yamaha pipe,l all it takes to mod the pipe is some JB weld a few drill bits and some brass fittings.

Got it. I have the 650 pipe already nodded too. Now I need a manifold.

I almost did this mod. But then I found a sj mod pipe. Super easy to install once you find a manifold. Find a factory pipe mani and drill a hole for a stinger. And your done. Looks better then stock too. Lol.

Its the coffmans 650 Yamaha manifold that is hard to find.

High speed screw : 1 1/2 turns out from closed
Low speed screw : 2 1/2 turns out from closed
Needle & Seat : Stock
Spring : 95 gram
