650/X-2 Dyna S Ignitions?

Im taking apart a 89 x-2 with a 650 in it and It has a Dyna S Ignition system, anyone know anything about these? All I found is this website but it doesn't say anything about jetski engines. http://dynoman.net/ignition/dynaS.html

Pre automatic on-off module instructions. With the original system, you had better press the stop button after riding, or your coil would burn out (turn off the system). That KV system had a fixed curve.

I have some experience with these brainless total loss ignitions, what are you needing to know?

That one has the automatic cutoff module so it won't burn the coil if you don't hit the kill switch . There is no timing curve with them . You set the timing at whatever you want and that's what you get at all rpms . Used to run that on 550s until Msd total loss came out in 92 . MSD was so much better .

Thanks guys, you answered my questions. I just had no idea what it was, I had never heard of any other kind of total loss until I found this.

Well one more question, what is a working setup like this worth?

Had on in my Harley years ago, they are a single fire ignition. Did that have two coils?
