drysuit alternative?

while looking for very expensive dry suits i came across this. This is a military "flyer suit" that is supposed to be water proof. Anyone every try one of these?

Looks kinda thin but worth a shot! You'd have to wear insulation underneath that, fleece is awesome. When I use to sail I just had some waterproof overalls, a waterproof top, and wore a shorty wetsuit (better movement) and fleece pants and shirt with gill booties, you'd get wet, but you'd be warm and wet, I frequently got sprayed and soaked and capsized a couple times in 45 degree water, and was plenty warm (except my face!) oh, and the waterproof insulated gloves arent worth a CRAP, best thing believe it or not, are rubber dish gloves, double layer those, and where some sailing gloves on top, since its impermeable and insulated, the dish gloves trap your hand heat and keep them nice and toasty.
