Down graded to 760 something motor build

I changed directions sold the top end (it was shipped out today) since its winter and carb parts took so long I am sending my stuff off to be worked over, I found a cheap 61x cylinder local, BB sleeves that look like the NW sleeve ones and have the pistons sitting on the shelf, and carb parts finally got here. Parts will get mailed out in a couple weeks meanwhile I have other stuff planned to keep me occupied for a month or two.

Its going into a 93 sn, that I put a rn pole on, r&d grate, stock D cut rideplate, footholds installed, b pipe, modified hood, skat 14/17 maybe, its what ever skat recommended for am 701 with pipe for freestyle, its probably not enough prop for what i have now though....

yeah its assembled but i can measure the pieces when it pucks them out :crutches: When i get bored and have 500$ this winter it will come apart and the good stuff installed, for now I will see how it runs and if I really want this much ski.

I lied i think i can still get to the skirt through the intake mani, will check when i get home, just ordered those gaskets from you today so its gonna be a few before it gets plugged, that and I am still waiting on the carb rebuild kits to get here.

I made an impression of it into some clay the measuered the space and the tip is 2.00 mm but then i noticed they are tapered just a little bit so I guess up just a hair they are just over 2.00 maybe 2.25 but I can confirm 2.00, on a side not I measured my new sleeves and they are 3.5mm at the bottom

Here is a pic of the big bore sleeves I picked up, ordered new jets should be here firday or early next week, still need to order new domes, also picked up an unmolested 61x cylinder local on the cheap. I have been talking to a member about the porting work and figured if I was gonna spend the dough I might as well get it done right with the right port job. I still wanna run the current setup to make sure I dont have any problems. If it runs good then off with it and new setup will be installed. I also ordered new crank seals, and a new base gasket for the new top end when its ready. Going riding this weekend then ocean next weekend and it will come out after that and the 701 goes in the corner :( Anyone ever wanted to put a 701 in a canoe would have to add some flotation but it would win the canoe drag race forsure if you could get the right pitch boat prop on it... just saying... not much of a sleeper though when you fire it up and all the other canoes look at you...

pistons coming as well, vertex 84.5 new cylinder will be in the 760 range...

Any help with the hood seal... The oem one sucks, the hydro turf one would probably work but where the hood presses it slides inside of the seal up front and on the sides... Any thoughts... I was thinking about wondering the isles of homedepot till I find something thin around 1/4 and pressing it on the lip of the hood seal so it would possibly seal better as well as put clear silicone inside the rubber piece where all the cables go through... Any thoughts? Do all squares take on water like no other when subbed? my 550 can go under completely several times and not take on a gallon but the square goes under twice and its half full....

Going with hot rods crank now, the builder suggested with all these new parts and bigger hp I should get a new crank.

Builder should have parts and will get done when hes done :)

Planned motor
61x cylinder with bb sleeves ported for freestyle 84.5
64y cases ported
dual 44's with dual oem 61x FA and channel filled
Protec girlded head with 36cc domes
Lightened grp k flywheel

Got the trim ring today, gonna start modifying my nozzle for trim...
New jets are also in. Just need to clean up the carbs a bit more and rebuild them
