Freestyle does anyone make an air filter that's not complete garbage?

the tau ceti carbon top pro series round ones have never failed me. the K&N tall tapered ones were bulletproof. the little 2" tau ceti ones have held up on my freak for a couple seasons. the old prok vortex with the black top and logo on top were great too. you just picked some duds. probably the fly/prok clear/blue vortex ones. the blowsion tai ceti round ones, the tops fall off those in a ride or two. can be glued back on.............................

Had the stock ones last year with the thrust adapter kit, was kind of a nightmare. Bastards fell off all the time. And yes I have the clear proks. , I'll have to try and find those carbon ones.

I have had Proks on every ski I've owned for over 10 years now and only had one set fail. They really don't like an unbalanced or rough idle or the underside of the hood.

I have 10 PROK's with the centers out of them. LOL I get about 1 season and then they create the 'full choke' effect on the carb they are sitting on top of. LOL I would hope that the fuel I run has something to do with my F/A falling apart all the dam time. CHP is 15% oxy and creates one hell of a mess in the F/A's after about 3 seconds of run time. LOL I now own a pair of Blowsion Tornadoe's. Ill let you know next year how they are holding up. lol

Proks are junk, get the new style hot products ones made by tauceti. We haven't had one failure with those yet. It's frustrating because those little things aren't cheap!

Agreed..

I have had many PROKS fail. Also K&N's, the mesh falls apart. R&D shorts are "OK".

We have had excellent results with the tau ceti tornado's. IMO worth the extra cost.
