Different fuel line sizes okay?

Going through a ski to track down a bog problem. Could there be any problems from running a small 3/16" line into dual 38's but using a larger 1/4" for the pulse and return?

check your little white fuel tank valve to make sure it isnt spent.... maybe little fuel filter in carbs? doubt those different size lines would do anything like that... as long as your jetting and adjustments are ok then id try the those things...

Yeah we're trying lots of things and I was just wondering about the different fuel line sizes. How does a tank valve get "spent" and affect performance?

I run 3/16 fuel lines on 44's with no problems.

But then the pulse and returns are 1/4". Does opening up the return like that in relation to the fuel in affect performance?

Nope.

put a 3/8 on the pulse line, dont wory about the return, IMHO
maximize pulse to make fuel pump put out maximum
after that filters, diaphrams, rebuild carb
