Blaster Did a little painting

Hey guys made my first attempt at doing some painting. Nothing crazy as my only real experiece paint has been with some weight plates for the home gym.

I asked earlier about painting and turf and was able to get some painting done. DupliColor Metal Cast turned out really looked nice. Only advice is make sure to put it on thin as it will run quickly especially the base coat one they sell. Did some bolt heads and they held up pretty good as long as they are only tightened up once. Also put 1 to 2 layers of clear on after too. Too much clear darkened up a few pieces.

Looked alot nice when I had to make a few adjustments at the ramp today when the hood was up.

Not sure I'll get much riding in this year but I'll try and post and update on how it holds up. Here are some before and afters.

i used that on a motorcycle lower fairing a couple of years ago. still holds up good. great choice and good work.

Thanks guys, I'm really happy with how it turned out the more I looked at it. Plus it was a really good learning experience. I especially learned that's important to make sure that the jet nozzel is pointed straight along with the bars. A pretty quick fix but hey atleast the ski looked good while the hood was up this time.
