Hello all,

Just rebuilt my SJ (SN).
62t/61x, Stock 38s, B-pipe, 14/17 Skat-Track.

Went Out for about 5 min ran pretty ok.
Came back in turned it off for about 5 min (unloaded a friends ski)

Now its hitting on both cylinders when its idling but 1 cylinder while giving it any throttle.
After 10 minutes of trailer ride, still having the same issue.

Any suggestions or critcisms are welcome.

Also what carb jets do I need to get to get the most out of my b-pipe?

Thanks All,
Andre

1. did you jet the carbs per Factory Pipes recommendations?

2. did you check your plugs, sounds like you may have fouled them or your coil is breaking down and has broken strands near the plug caps.

Ive yet to jet the carbs (this is why I asked the in the original post)
But I ddidnt think it would make a cyliner drop out.

I will check the plugs, and cut back the plug wires too. (they are definately long enough)

You need to re-jet the carbs. You may have actually stuck a piston since you did not rejet causing you to lose compression on one cylinder. Check compression.

While having a good tach is the ideal tuning solution, you can indeed have great results just by running the jetting specs Factory Pipe tells you to run.

Just got on the FP website and got the jets I need, but could that really cause a cylinder to drop out?
I thought I may not be cooling well and teh heat sensor was kicking in but still any issue even after the ski cooled down.

eightyseven550... run a compression test on your motor, to make sure you're still in the good. like BK said you can and will run the motor lean without the propper jets, it only takes a few minutes.
