detonation sensor

Anyone have any recommendations on a detonation sensors out there looking in to picking one up . any goods bads or more affordable

I looked on RIVA's site, but could not find it, I think PET makes a EGT sensor, it either PET or someone else, could not find a link to it.

yea they are not easy to find and not cheap either . i know factory pipe had made a few a year or two ago singles for $1000 and i used another one before and it was up to three and that was 4000 .

thanks for that .i am looking more for a sensor that you put at the base of the spark plug and have alight kit that will go red if you detonate or go green if it is good . that i can change from ski to ski easily for tuning multiple skis .i dont want to make holes in all the exhaust to run egt sensors .

i think this may work i have to look into more later when i get some time . the ones i was looking for have an eyelet like a spark plug washer and they just go under the plug when you pu them in and it detects nock . thanx for the info and the research i appreciATE IT . as you say some times knowing what to look for is the key i have this problemn alot with internet so much stuff out there just need the right word.thanx

sp125racing.com has a link to some detonation sensors that could possibly be made to work if you got two , since they are for single cylinders. These are a must have , if you really want to know what you motor is doing.I cannot belive they have not become mainstream in watercraft tuning.

i checked with sp125 racing and the said they would not work on watercraft anymore out there
