I have done the measurement according to Blowsion, but before I drill holes in the hull does the position of the outline look correct?

If you have followed the instructions with the distance from the back of the hull, that should be about right. That's what my brother did. And then I think they say more flush with the bottom of the hull gives you more straight line stability, and the more upwards you place them gives you more turning stability. I believe that's what I heard.

My brother installed his up a bit from the bottom edge, sort of how you have them. His feel very nice.
