Can you dent a coffman pipe? I know Factory PIpes you can bang all you want.
The reason I ask is because I am going to begin reenforcing this week, but am a bit worried the pipe isnt giong to fit after I lay the glass, its really close as it is, I think the couple is rubbing the side already...

Better idea, grind 1/16 off the lord mount on the exhaust manifold, and let the pipe swing slightly to the right.

Forget about reinforcing. get that motor running!!!:)

and sand all that white paint off the inside first!

You guys are gay.
...I have gay friends.
:cheer:
For the record, I am going to get the motor running, I was bored though so started a project
I am going to reinforce the inside, and re paint it a snazzy color to go bling bling with my motor that has a fresh paintjob after it starts running again. Besides I need a new midshaft anyways, so I unbolted the motor to get to the midshaft and figured....faaaak, might as well just lift it out!

Crab...I like that idea. Ill give it a shot!

he's being serious, cast will not bend so nice, easier to crack i would think is what he is saying , so cutting the lord mount back could save you from a crack and weld problem.
