December Roll Practice *updated 12/26/09*

Trying to get my barrel roll down before summer rolls back around. As you can see, besides jet skiing I also enjoy swimming.

A+ for the killer effort bro. You need to put the pole down more on the hood and tuck more... still too upright. Also you need to lean into the rotation more with your head. Lead with your head and your ass will follow.

Get your body over the side of the ski and down you need to point your head over towards the water and your body will follow. Think small and take your weight off the ski.

Good job keep it up!

do you have foot lifters? YOu come out of them really easy for some reason if you do have them. Or maybe you are pulling too hard with your feet.
You have the right set up but these other posts have good suggestions... lead with your head, crouch down and more forward, It looks like you are trying to pull the ski around with your feet, and as you can tell by looking at your hips it is not working. YOur head and shoulders are going the right way but your hips are way outside your center of rotation. Maybe try and not work your legs so much and also look over your right shoulder as you are in the air .

definitely hats off to the effort.

What no one told me which helped the MOST was pull your legs up during the rotation. I could never get the "tuck" down. Like frost said follow with your head.

Yep, 61x slightly port matched, wet jet intake with unknown carb, ada girdled head w/ 33cc domes, factory b pipe w/ limited chamber, lightened stock flywheel, and lightweight aluminum couplers courtesy of Cold Fusion.

I appreciate all the info guys, I was out today trying to get that last half rotation down. Not much luck, but I'm still trying to get all the techniques down. A lot to put together in the split second it takes me to launch off a setup wake and start rotating.

I do have footwells. I'm not sure what brand. Very basic rectangular shaped, but I believe it's my re-entry into the water upside down. The ski just gets ripped away from me when I enter the water like that. Don't worry fellas I'll get it.

Ledlie got some good ones in today. He'll have it soon. Like he said, just have to put all the pieces together in that split second. New video probably shortly after christmas of ledlie and hopefully myself barrel rollin plate to plate.

Little update. Three out of maybe ten or more attempts. Making a little progress but still can't get my body english quite right.

that's pretty much the problem we came up with after watching the whole video... If we could get our tuck down, i think we'd have it or at least be right there. The cold water, 44 degrees, just doesnt help with trying to loosen up... Thanks frosty for the advice
