Super Jet De winterized ski wont run right! Need help!

Hi i have a 94 superjet and i winterized it last yr with fogging oil and i pulled it out today and started it up and it seemed to run ok. So i put it in the lake and i rode like 2 min and it died in the water like 5 times when i went to get on the gas hard. But it started right up again. Then i pulled it out of the lake and tryed to start it and it was really hard to start and barely ran. So i changed the plugs and now it starts up and idles fine and it revs up when i give it gas but right after that it dies. Idk why. It was the first time i have ever tried fogging oil so is that the reason. Does it just need to idle for a while and let that stuff burn up. If so how long should that take?
Thanks for the help guys this is how u learn things about these skis

my guess is bad gas left in the carb got the filter screen plugged up.
fogging spray should do anything unless you sprayed it into the motor.

hopefully someone else can narrow this down for you better than myself.

depending on the oil you used to fog with, my skis sometimes smoke like crazy and act funny for a bit...but only for about 10 minutes total run time.

like has already been said, pull the carb and clean/replace the little filter inside the carb. A ski cutting out at wide open throttle is a characteristic symptom of that filter being clogged / gummed up.

Also make sure the needle and seat are not stuck and/or jets are not plugged.

I tryed cleaning it idk if i did it right but i pulled it apart and it looked fine inside there was no brown stuff it was all clear but i still sprayed it all anyways and put it back together and it still has the same problem. It seems to smoke alot im just confused on what to do. It ran fine when i put it away.

Everyone says clean the carb which is in most cases what would cause these type of symptoms, but mainly don't overlook the jets. The jets have such small holes that they are very easy to clog up. In some cases I've taken 1 wire out of a wire brush and used that to poke through the crud. I'd guess a good cleaning of the carb would fix your problem but most importantly IMHO don't overlook the jets. it's small tedious work, but it's what will get that thing rippin' good again.

I do plenty of carb work each summer on a variety of skis. Here's what's the problem, the overwhelming majority of the time.
1. Dirty internal filter
2. Worn needle & seat
3. Clogged nets (far more rare than the first two)

Clogged nets are rare, I've never seen that one before....lol

Is the diaphragm still soft an pliable in the carb or was it stiff?

Thank you guys for all the information i took it apart and everything seems plyable and not stiff. If i was to guess i think the hi speed jet is full of junk but how do u clean it just take a small wire and keep pushing it into the hole with the needle out. And also what is a good place to start with the needles on how far out they should go?

Just take the jets out for a good visual inspection and blow any dirt out. Shouldn't be hard.
INSPECT THOSE NEEDLE & SEATS!!!

I would leave the hi & lo adjusters alone for now.

how do you take them out they look to me like they are apart of the carb? I have never done this before though so im kinda confused on how they come out.

Take the two Phillips screws out(be careful to NOT strip the head out) the jets are under that cover. The jets aren't under the needles, they're under the diaphragm side of the carb.
