Yeah, it doesn't get 'cold' since it's picking up water from the Gulf thanks to the east coast current. In Charleston, it would get down to maybe 55 in winter, and Daytona is quite a bit further south.

I rode here yesterday, 55-60F air, 60-65F water, and just a 3/2 Slippery suit is plenty.

all you homos who want to whine about water temps... :17: :17: :17: :17: :17: :17: :17: :17:

it's not that cold... 65F is barely wetsuit weather if you are not a sissy...
Christ, it feels good to me. In all reality, the water temp could be anywhere from 55F to 75F and the air temp could be from 30F to 85F... It's ********ing florida, ya never will know... Just get in your truck, drive here and ride....

It will be a blast either way...

btw-
 always check the location of the person who is telling you that its freezing... you will see that they are all from N.Cuba (Miami area)

I know a certain bahamian that complains when the air/water temps are below 85/80...

no doubt, didn't he whine this past spring when it was beatuiful outside and we were on your lake? :dunno: May Mr. Heatmieser be with the Holly the Bahamian and Senor Saki come Daytona time!

on the coldest day at last years event it was not a problem with a 3/2 mil suit. the temp shouldn't keep people away.
