Surfriding Daytona question

Hey guys me and my family are heading down to Daytona for spring break (March 31st to April 5th).
Does anyone ride around that time and if so what are the conditions like. Is it worth it?

historically that can be a pretty good time of year wave wise. i know i have alot of pics from that time of year. florida is always hit or miss. could catch it totally flat or it could be victory at sea and the zone be closed due to small craft advisory. water temp is usually in the high 60's possibly low 70's.

i would say it is def worth bringing a ski. you'll spend the week kicking yourself if u dont and there are good waves.
