DASA intake manifold cable bracket.

I just build my first ski with DASA billet manifold and I cant believe that the cable has to be removed when taking the carbs out to adjust.

This does not make sense since the removable plate has the intention to make adjustments easier.

Is that supposed to be like this??

do you have a wheel on the carbs? you should be able to spin the wheel and remove the cable without removing it from the mani

I have a wheel but the cable bracket come off with the plate.
In the Boyesen manifold, the bracket stays there attached to the motor and the plate take the carbs off.

If you have seen the newer Dasa manifolds that is how they come. The old manifold has a mounting spot on the adapter plate which made more sense. They might have changed it for manufacturing cost who knows.
