Im looking to mod my sqaurenose hull. I dont have the money to upgrade to a rn hull at the moment so sense winter is right around the corner im going to be going some paint work on my ski. I was looking for some pictures or tips on how to make my hull less square looking. Im looking to cut down the hood and round off all the square and bulky corners. I know theres threads out there showing people who have done it but I cant seem to find anything. If you have any pictures or threads showing what im looking for please send them my way

thats what I want. I cant swing 700 dollars on it. If were to spend that much money id just pick up a roundie. But im going to try to do it myself and see how it turns out

I think you need to embrace the square and keep saving.

yeah i am saving up. Its not going to cost me a dime to mess around with the square. I got all the glass and resin so i thought might as well try something

I tend to agree. By the time you chop, glass and paint you will have way more time and money in it than you think.

Right im just looking for idea's. Im in school for auto body and can do all the work in class if I need something to do. Im up really late at night and just like trying new stuff thats why im looking for idea's.

Sounds like a good situation! If it were me I would definitely do footholds and probably a nosepiece with external fuel fill (no door). I always thought it would be cool to build a water tight tool & rope compartment in the wall inside the tray too. Maybe chop a couple inches off the back, mod the hood intakes and do handholds.

i already did holds. i was thinking of doing a nose piece hood and maybe cut the hull back

Messing with the hood was the most time intensive and only saved a few pounds.
