I had to send a box out today and didn't have the right size. So, I had to fabricate. Maybe we need a build thread for shipping. Guess what's in the box. I think all the duct tape added an extra pound. USPS hit me up fo' a little extra due to box size.

Fedex here doesn't care what the box says. They'll ship it without having to turn it inside out.

Nice work! :ugh2:

Those free USPS work well for Fed-Ex and UPS if you turn them inside out or use some duct tape on the outside. :shhh:

Be careful I was warned by a USPS employee that you can get in trouble for doing this. Though they told me some bull:):):):) that if you turn it inside out that it has some identifiable mark and I have turned them inside out and do not see anything other than a brown box.

I just shipped a pole and just wrapped it in a blanket and then taped a box around it. Its metal so it should stand up to some abuse.

That's exactly how I've shipped poles in the past

packed it full of dry ice. The snowman should stay cool for about 72 hours. Just don't eat any of the yellow snow on him.

That looks much better than the boxes I got some parts in recently. Some people on X must let their children pack parts for them.

I just shipped some parts and was low on packing material.... Empty water jugs and soda bottles work well for taking up space....

I have enough packing peanuts to just about fill something...big...and April Fools is coming up soon. lol

I like Blowsion's filler the best. Those little bits of turf and foam are damn handy to have around some days.
