could THIS cause massive vibrations???

i build a SN once upon a time and i´m fighting with massiv vibrations since then. even the bendix engages caused by the vibrations....
I have swaped every single part of the ski, changed engines and so on but the vibration has never gone.
my last hope is the exhaust tube i build.
So... can you imagine, that this exhaust tube causes the vibrations??? i now know that you have to use pipe bends, when buildig an exhaust tube.....:(

I would be amazed if that was the issue tbh.

Guess you have done the obvious i.e engine mounts (most am mounts are hard as poop and give big vibration problems) engine alignment, pump shaft alignment, shaft engagement into intermediate shaft, worn drive of intermediate shaft splines.

Also things like engine keepers touching the bed plates if you haver them, exhaust touching side of hull etc etc

I have run welded z-tubes forever with no vibration issues.
Bent drive shaft, clapped out intermediate bearings or dampener, as (only use OEM SJ) stated above, crappy motor mounts.
Crank shaft issues, such as out of time drastically from front to rear cyl., if running TL make sure your timing is correct on BOTH cylinders.
Last but not lease, make sure noting is rubbing from your drive train to the hull anywhere.

I have a massive vibration that changes with engine rpms and after swapping out the entire drive line including motor mounts I have come to the conclusion my crank became unbalanced. Has a horrible vibration just off idle.
