Corrosion???

Well I took my motor out of the ski to get it boxed to sent to team scream hopefully soon.

Anyways so I decided since they are going to take it all apart I might as well take it apart and do some exploring myself.

Well I took the head and exhaust off and look what I found??

The motor has never been ran in salt water before. I wonder what this can be?

Some sort of corrosion. Maybe pH related? Maybe high calcium in the water you ride in? Nothing a little muriatic acid won't fix.

yea i ride in lake michigan
