cooling lines

I'm not sure if somebody did a dual cooling mod to the pump on my ski but it would appear that there are three lines coming outta the pump on the pressure side of it. The pump might be the old style that they put on the SN 650s. Also there is this awkward large hose coming out of the side (one of the three) that has a fitting that bolts to the rideplate. I not familiar with this pump style because before this SN I've always been a Kawi guy. So, where do the three fittings coming out of the bulkhead get plugged into? the manual is not very descriptive at all except for the bilge hose fitting.....wait... is that on the top or the bottom of the port side? confused... any suggestions, diagrams? maybe this pic will help

Someone added a line cause they were probably doing dual cooling and using the stock bilge syphon. Take a look at the pump. Two probably go to the pump body and one goes to the tail cone. The tail cone one is your bilge syphon. They could have used either hard tube for it, so it depends where the other ends are hooked up.

They look too small, but maybe one was used for trim???

The two silver pipes coming (up high and spaced evenly) from the bulkhead are the OEM Cooling and Bilge Line connection points. If he left the stock configuration, the Port (left) side line is for the bilge, the Starboard pipe (right) is your cooling line and the additional line below the one on the Port side is your additional cooling line that was added by someone.

Yes, that strange oversized pipe exiting the rear next to the pump is the syphon bilge, seems a little overengineered when compared to the newer method.

well, there is no fitting going in the actual tail cone or "venturi" as they call it. There are only the lines going right into the pump housing aft of the impeller. Now as far as hooking them up to the motor, in regards to also hooking up the flush do I run the starboard line up to the fitting pointing sideways and the aux line T'ed in with the flush on the fitting pointing up. Those two fittings (as you already know) are right next to each other and then there's the one on the cylinder head.

Some like it hot, not my engine though

P.S. Tapatio is the hot sauce for people who actually like it hot. Cholula just doesnt have that fire!

This is the SuperJETT routing that I used, the lower fitting on your ski should go to bilge suction on pump

thanks for the info but I do not have an A/M pipe nor do I have dual cooling lines in the cylinder head (unfortunately). I have a completely stock system except for the extra cooling line installed in the pump which goes through the bulkhead below the bilge fitting(as shown in picture).

If you are only running the stock exhaust you would need to cap the additional cooling line. I am not sure on the stock routing anymore but I will give it a shot.

From the Starboard side OEM barb exiting the bulkhead, the line should run to the lowest fitting on the exhaust system, I think it is near the manifold area. There is another fitting It think on the exhaust elbow this line runs to the larger fitting on the cylinder head with a 'T' in between, the leg of this 'T' goes overboard to the pisser. Your motor/ ski may not have been eqiuped with one of these bypasses; I think it is only used on the 96+ SJ's.

For the pump area:
The Port line attaches to the large goofy bilge contraption on your ride plate.
The cooling line from the Starboard goes to the 3/8" nipple projecting from the stator section (middle) of your pump
