cooling lines "2 in 2 out"

The exhaust system is a Coffman ( I think) lightning. So, it has three fittings @ the head pipe #3 is directly into the pipe, #1 & #2 are jacketed.

My thought is to have two cooling systems flowing. One line (blue) runs up through the manifold/cylinders/head/head pipe (all jacketed). The second line (yellow) is flow restricted, then tee's into #3 & the stinger.

So, in the water, on the trailer, I could determine the right RPM vs.flow restricter PSI. And adjust the restricter to stop the water @ the right higher RPM. This way (pisser), plus the '3 second touch' / 'no sizzle'

I know everyones puts the flow restricter into just the stinger.

But wouldn't this dry the pipe out even better?

I haven't hooked up the lines yet....any input is appreciated.

I have done tons of experiments with the coffmans sizzler 3 head pipe lines and the best set up with noticable difference is a s follows... ( 701 engine )

Dual cooling !

>> Both Lines from pump into Exhaust manifold

-Back of Headpipe <> restricted 4,2mm to Front Stinger
-Cylinder head back to side of Head pipe
-Cylinder Front waterbypass
-Front Headpipe waterbypass

The most important part was the restrictor it really changed the way the engine/pipe responded !
The pipe was hot but did not get to sizzle but as soon as I lowered the rrestrictor to below 4mm started to sizzle and get to hot.

what would happen if you restricted the side of head pipe and front stinger?

Slightly modified my thinking, based on input. (thx woody/orangefinger)

-nutshell version, Coffman 'sizzler', has three water connections, back of head pipe has injector. Why not flow restrict that one and the stinger? Wouldn't that dry the pipe better at low rpm's?

I tried all possible variations due to the fact that no body could give me really good input....different restrictor sizes and also different waterline routings, this went on for almost a complete season and the absolut best results for my 701 was the above mentioned set up. Feel free to try others you might like different results.

IYO what happened when u restricted the head pipe injector (w/ the jetworks restrictor) ? or do you think this would help?

I also tried the jetworks with different washers best performance was just pure line restriction...I noticed that the jetworks works great on my b-pipes
